Welcome to Senior Assist UK. A professional and trustworthy 'Buddy' flexible one-to-one befriending service proudly helping older people to live independently in their homes.
Getting older can be daunting and a worry for the elderly and their families. Unfortunately, in the UK, we do not provide a systematic level of support to our senior citizens who go can unnoticed by their neighbours, local authority, community health based and social services, with them feeling very isolated, affecting their physical and mental health.
Senior Assist UK aims to bridge the gap by providing elderly clients with the support and assistance for them to continue to manage their daily living routine and be able to access local community and online services.
We would love to offer our services for free, unfortunately we have to make a small affordable fee of £20 per hour which will only start when we arrive.

Below is a list of the type of services, Senior Assist UK do offer to our clients:
Senior companionship - checking in and having a cuppa and a chat
Personal local shopping
Liaising with the local council, adult social services and health authority
Organisation - help organising utility bills, statements in to folders
Surgery companion - attend GP and hospital appointments
Pick-up prescriptions from the local pharmacy
Contact the GP surgery/dentist regarding appointments on behalf of a client
Arrange patient transport for hospital appointments
Help and assist in using technology (mobile telephone/tablet/PC)
Help and assist in completing online Government/benefit application forms
Help and assist in online store/supermarket shopping
Help and assist in setting up online store/supermarket accounts

Below are services that Senior Assist UK do not offer to clients, they are provided by local authority adult care services:
Personal care/hygiene support
Preparation of daily meals
Cleaning, laundry or any other type of domestic duties around the home
Payment
Payment
Our fees are set at a fixed rate of £20 per hour from Monday to Friday. Payments can be made on a daily, weekly or fortnightly basis by debit or credit card via a contactless payment terminal and a detailed record of service(s) will be provided to each client.
